We are Harriet and Hayley (most people call us H & H!). We met across a clothes shop ten years ago and since then we’ve been travelling the world together, unearthing vintage treasures and generally pushing each others creative buttons. Along with making each other laugh. A lot.
With Hayley working as a Graphic Designer and Harriet working as a documentary maker we had always dreamed of ‘marrying’ up our skills and building a business together. We just weren’t sure how. Until.
Hayley started designing some kick ass wedding stationery for friends and relatives and Harriet was asked to shoot her first wedding. After looking around at some of the highly average photography and stationery out there we were determined to do things a bit differently. Then it all just fell into place. The final piece to the puzzle was our massive love of vintage. Weddings Vintage was born.
'Vintage' has grown to mean a lot of things nowadays, but to us it means distinctive, classic, stylish, cinematic, something non disposable that withstands the test of time. Something that is worth investing in.
Along with being a bird lover and fabulous cocktail maker Hayley has twelve years of design and art direction experience. She can tailor you some seriously cool wedding stationery that all your guests will be raving about. Promise.
Meanwhile Harriet will take your photos in a way you’ll barely notice she’s there, she won’t make you do any awkward posing or boss your guests around, she’ll capture your day as it naturally unfolds, treating each wedding as it own photojournalistic adventure. Her style is artistic, emotive and influenced by reading too much Vogue.
